The DP-004 records up to 2 sources at once to its included 1GB SD Card. A built-in stereo condenser microphone makes it simple to record anywhere you go. The TASCAM DP-004 is a perfect recorder for concerts, rehearsals and songwriting inspiration. Connect your own microphones or other sources using the pair of 1/4″ jacks on the rear panel. Even switch the inputs to guitar-level for another very handy recording option.

Use the TASCAM DP-004 to build up your arrangement until you’ve filled up all 4 tracks. Consolidate tracks and make room for more overdub layers with the Bounce feature. The DP-004 Pocketstudio’s Autopunch feature fixes problems,and you also get Track Editing and an Undo function.

TASCAM also built mixing into the Digital Pocketstudio. Once you set levels and pan, record your mix onto a dedicated stereo master track. Transfer your tracks and mixes to your computer over USB 2.0 for CD burning and music sharing online.
