S-Logic Natural Surround Sound
It’s just like being in a live concert! Ultrasone’s S-Logic Natural Surround Sound employs proven psychoacoustic principles to create a 3-D sound field no additional equipment required. Since we use sound reflecting off of the outer ear to localize sound, the S-Logic system directs sound to the outer ear before entering the auditory canal, which creates a natural three-dimensional sound. Instead of the trying to squeeze a band (or an entire symphony orchestra) inside your head, the Ultrasone HFI-450 immerses you in a rich, natural musical environment. And it does it without any artificial echo, time delay, or digital processing.
Safer hearing
S-Logic not only creates a natural surround sound, but also allows a reduction of sound pressure levels of up to 40% (3-4 dB), while maintaining the same perceived loudness. Being able to listen at lower volumes without losing the sensation of loudness increases listening pleasure while reducing the risk of hearing damage, ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening. (However, that’s not an excuse to crank it even more. To prevent hearing damage, Ultrasone advises you always listen at lower volume.) Even at very low levels, you still get the same spacious sonic effect, enabling you to hear each and every individual sound as though you were in the room where it was recorded. For even greater safety in long listening sessions, Ultrasone has developed a special MU Metal shielding (ULE, for Ultra Low Emissions) to reduce electromagnetic radiation by 98% as compared to conventional headphones.
